Tickets are available now for the supper club in March.
Dubai is home to sensational supper clubs. Now, RARE Brasserie & Bar is teaming up with the FACT award-winning Lila Taqueria. Taking place on 22 March, the one-off supper club takes place at RARE in City Walk.
RARE is back with Volume 2 of its superb supper club series. RARE prides itself on its New York bar meets Parisian brasserie vibe. Lila Taqueria is a homegrown concept that serves Mexican food and drinks. The menu includes wood-fired dishes, and handmade tortillas using traditional methods.

The RARE and Lila Taqueria supper club is a rare opportunity to enjoy a one-off menu, which combines the two concepts. Connection is at the heart of the experience, which brings strangers together around the table. Expect shared tables and a fusion of influences across the food and drinks.
Starters include botanas, a shared platter filled with epazote, oaxacan cheese, tuna tostadas with salsa macha, and quesadillas loaded with squash blossoms. Mains bring the heat, and are superb for sharing. Dishes include wood-grilled head-on prawns with green pistachio mole, and slow-cooked short rib with oaxacan black mole.

Sides include duck-fat roasted baby potatoes with wood-smoked ancho chile and a crisp heirloom lettuce salad with Mexican dukkah spice. Desserts include the Oaxacan chocolate and candied orange flan. A Mezcal pairing is available, and the three cocktails use Mezcal Amaras Verde.
Shaw Lash is at the helm of the Lila brand. She was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She studied under Dianne Kennedy and learned about the history of Mexican cuisine. Over her career, she has specialised in Mexican food and opened restaurants across Chicago and New York. The Lila team pride themselves on the freshly sourced ingredients and authentic flavours. The heirloom corn comes from farmers in Mexico and is ground daily into masa to create perfect hand-pressed tortillas, resulting in a distinguished flavour profile.
Tickets are available now for the RARE and Lila Taqueria supper club. Tickets start from AED 400, and AED 600 for the Mezcal pairing.
