Spanning 60,000 square metres, it includes high-end shops, a spa and a cinema.

Saudi Arabia is filled with exciting new openings, from hotels to restaurants. Now, Riyadh has got a new lifestyle destination: Solitaire. The capital’s latest lifestyle destination includes shopping, food, drink, entertainment, wellness, and sports. Here’s everything you need to know.

Solitaire in Riyadh is more than 60,000 square metres. Located near King Abdulaziz Road, Al Imam Saud Ibn Faisal Road, and Al Thumamah Road, it offers views of the King Abdullah Financial District.

Riyadh’s Solitaire has several different sections. The retail section offers high-end fashion and a dedicated jewellery quarter. The flagship fashion stores include Bvlgari, Cartier, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., and Van Cleef & Arpels.

The food and beverage section will include fine dining, fast food and a food hall on the rooftop. The brands already open for business include Bateel, Lavazza, Paul Le Café and The Butcher Shop. They will soon be joined by Joe & The Juice, New Shanghai, Parkers, Said Sal 1923, Somewhere, Venchi and Yann Couvreur Pâtisserie.

The entertainment section will include a luxury cinema, family-friendly entertainment, light and water activations, and special events. The sports and wellness section will also include a gym, wellness centre, spa, and beauty salons.

We’re most excited about the arrival of London’s Arcade Food Hall, which will open on the rooftop. Perruche from Paris will also be located within the development. Both brands will be brought to the Kingdom by MJS Holding, which is behind Il Baretto, Jon & Vinny’sMr Chow and Zuma in the capital. The hospitality group also announced that it is bringing the restaurants Anna, Il Bambini Club, and Liza to Saudi Arabia.

Solitaire in Riyadh

Solitaire’s sleek design has been created by Benoy. The landmark is easy to spot from a distance and features a wind tower, which will mark the northern and southern points of the structure. The venue has been designed with an angular stone structure on the outside and softer textures, from hanging plants to open plan spaces on the inside.

Spanning three levels, Solitaire in Riyadh includes retail streets, plazas and an elevated roof garden. Plus, there is no need to worry about the weather, as it has an indoor and outdoor climate-controlled temperature.
