The collection is available exclusively in the GCC.
American fashion designer, Tom Ford, has dropped his first Ramadan collection. The limited-edition capsule is available only in the GCC. The collection aims to reflect the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The Tom Ford Ramadan collection includes four women’s and three men’s looks, and accessories spanning bags to shoes. The collection draws inspiration from night and day, with tones ranging from beige to blue. For women, the items include a matching set of kaftan and a shirt. For men, the items include a bomber jacket, trousers, shirt and shorts. Plus, for men there are leather wallets and dark green mules.

Tom Ford hails from Austin, Texas. He originally worked as the Creative Director of Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent. In 2005, he launched his brand, which is famous for its tailored, sleek looks. Over his career, his clothes have been worn by Daniel Craig, Hugh Jackman, Michelle Obama and Tom Hanks.

Tom made the move from fashion to film. In 2005, he launched the film production company, Fade to Black. In 2009, he made his directorial debut with A Single Man. The film starred Colin Firth, Julianne Moore, Nicholas Hoult and Matthew Goode. The story followed a Los Angeles-based professor, and was based on the novel of the same name.

Tom Ford isn’t the only designer to drop a Ramadan collection. McQueen has unveiled an exclusive collection, which is a six-piece ready-to-wear capsule. The collection is available at Harrods in London, and McQueen boutiques in Harvey Nichols and Bloomingdale’s in Dubai.
