Dubai’s music scene is on fire. The city is gearing up to host several big names such as Ricky Martin and Thirty Seconds to Mars. And now, it’s turning up the heat because Metro Boomin is heading to Dubai in 2025.
Taking place on 24 January, Metro Boomin will bring his signature beats to Coca-Cola Arena. If you’re a fan of hip-hop, this is one show you won’t want to miss.
For those unversed, Metro Boomin — originally Leland Tyler Wayne — is a powerhouse in the world of music production. He started making tunes when he was a teen in the early 2010s, and by the time he was 19, his debut mixtape, 19 & Boomin, had already become a favourite. Since then, he’s collaborated with artists like Drake, 21 Savage and many others.
Some of his hit songs and albums include Superhero, Like That, Too Many Nights, Not All Heroes Wear Capes and Savage Mode. With multiple accolades to his name, including Grammy and MTV Video Music Awards nomination and an Annie Award for Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, Metro Boomin has cemented his status in the music landscape. He released two collaborative albums with fellow hip-hop heavyweight Future earlier this year: We Don’t Trust You and We Still Don’t Trust You.
Now this isn’t the first time Metro Boomin’s heading to the UAE. Earlier this year, he performed at BRED Abu Dhabi, where he wowed the crowd with his tracks. He also performed at Gamers8 in Saudi in the summer of 2023. Now, he’s set to return to the Middle East, taking it up a notch in Dubai’s Coca-Cola Arena.
