Kickstart the month with superstar Stormzy
British rapper Stormzy will headline Emirates Dubai 7s. Born Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr, he made waves with his breakthrough album Gang Signs & Prayer in 2017. The record was the first grime album to top the UK charts. In 2019, he released his second album, Heavy Is The Head, which also topped the album charts in the UK and achieved more than one billion global streams. See musician Dele Sosimi at Soul Kitchen
There are many reasons to visit the FACT award-winning Soul Kitchen. Located in Business Bay, the restaurant and bar is famous for its fusion food and live music. Now, it is set to welcome the British Nigerian musician Dele Sosimi as he makes his debut in Dubai. Dele is a pioneer of the Afrobeat music scene. His signature sound blends funk, jazz, and traditional African sounds. His songs include E Go Betta, Too Much Information and You No Fit Touch Am.

Sing along to Teddy Swims
The Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024 is turning up the volume with its Yasalam After-Race Concert Series. Teddy Swims is a rising star in the R&B and country-pop scene. Known for his soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics, Swims began his music career in 2019 by posting cover songs on YouTube. He gained widespread recognition with his breakout multi-platinum single, “Lose Control,” which became his first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Following the success of that smash hit, he released his debut studio album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1), which includes the fan-favourite track “The Door.” Most recently, Swims dropped his highly anticipated new single, “Bad Dreams.”

Dance the night away at Afterlife
Known for its deep, atmospheric music and mind-bending visual installations, Afterlife will be making its debut in the Middle East. For its arrival in Abu Dhabi, Afterlife has curated an extraordinary lineup, featuring Layla Benitez, Rebūke, and Cassian. The evening will also include two special showcases: MRAK presents ‘We Don’t Follow’ and Anyma presents ‘Genesys,’ giving attendees a taste of the cutting-edge artistry that defines the Afterlife experience. See Eminem live in the capital
The upcoming Yasalam After-Race concert marks Eminem’s return to the capital. He had previously performed in Abu Dhabi back in 2012. Eminem’s career spans over two decades. Throughout his musical journey, he’s produced hits such as The Real Slim Shady, Mockingbird, Without Me, Lose Yourself, and many more. It’s been a busy year for the artist known as Slim Shady, who released his 12th studio album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), in July.

Sunday 8 December
Experience the thrill of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024
Taking place at Yas Marina Circuit from 6 to 8 December, the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2024 will mark the grand finale of the F1 racing season. On the track, 20 drivers will race 58 laps, covering a total distance of over 300 kilometres. This year will see Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris amongst many other renowned drivers. However, fans are excited to see Lewis Hamilton this season as this will be his last race with Mercedes.

See Thirty Seconds to Mars live in Dubai
The countdown is on. The American rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars has announced that they will be performing at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. Thirty Seconds to Mars was formed in Los Angeles, California, and includes the brothers Jared and Shannon Leto. Jared is better known for his acting credentials, as he has starred in films including American Psycho and House of Gucci. Thirty Seconds to Mars is famous for its alternative rock sound. The newly-opened D’LIRIO is located in The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina. The secret speakeasy draws inspiration from the Aztecs and looks set to be a sultry spot with its shades of red, luxurious materials and dim lighting. While the full menu has not yet been unveiled, we know that it will serve Mexican-inspired food and drink.
