Chef Gabriela Chamorro is putting Central American cuisine on the map.

Dubai is home to spectacular supper clubs, which cover cuisines from around the world. Now, Girl & The Goose, famous for its Nicaraguan cuisine, is going from a humble home to a fully-fledged restaurant. Girl & The Goose Restaurante Centroamericano will be located in Anantara Downtown Dubai, and here’s what to expect.

On Instagram, Girl & The Goose shared an image of the front of the hoarding. The caption read: “This is the moment we’ve been dreaming about! Standing with Ziad Kamel in front of our future home at Anantara Downtown Dubai. It’s been a journey, and we can’t wait to finally share it with you all!”

Girl & The Goose was created by Gabriela Chamorro. She went from flying high in Emirates cabin crew to cooking in the kitchen. Born and raised in Nicaragua, she gained a love of cooking from her family. She was inspired by her grandmother to cook and become a chef.

Gabriela earned a degree from the Culinary Institute of Barcelona and started the supper club in 2019. Located in Dubai, Girl and the Goose was a way for her to share food from her homeland.

Girl and the Goose Supper Club

Girl & The Goose at Anantara Downtown Dubai puts Central American cuisine on the map. While the menu for the new restaurant has not yet been unveiled, we expect it to mirror the supper club. Gabriela prides herself on offering a gluten-free and sugar-free approach to her cooking. Plus, dishes at the supper club include Guacamole Pani Puri and Sweet Plantain Tempura.
