The European restaurant is located at The Ritz-Carlton DIFC.

Dubai boasts many restaurants, and with new ones opening almost daily, the city’s culinary landscape offers plenty to explore. One restaurant gearing up to shake the Dubai dining scene is FLOR.

The chic new dining concept from Russia recently opened its doors in the luxurious confines of The Ritz-Carlton DIFC. It promises calm and sophistication amidst the city’s hustle and bustle.

FLOR

FLOR’s decor strikes the perfect balance between elegance and cosy charm. During the day, the space feels like a lush garden, with rattan wood furnishings and fresh white linens gracing the tables. As night falls, ambient lighting transforms the venue into an inviting living room, exuding both comfort and luxury. Painted frames bring pops of colour to the predominantly white and beige palette, while chandeliers add a regal touch to the space.

The menu at FLOR celebrates modern European flavours. It includes starters like foie gras pate with Brioche and Hokkaido Scallops with Green Verbena Sauce and mains like Filet Mignon Steak with Onion Sauce and Rib Eye Steak. Desserts, such as Berry Beetroot and Chocolate Tart, blend unexpected flavours.

Chef Timofey Sulima

FLOR is backed by Chef Timofey Sulima, whose culinary journey began in Ukraine. With simple ingredients, he elevates dishes into something extraordinary. His outpost in Russia, called FLOR Moscow, received a MICHELIN Bib Gourmand in 2022, proving that this restaurant is one to watch in Dubai.

If you’re looking for new dining destinations in Dubai, French restaurant Frou Frou recently opened in The Lana Promenade, Manaret Beirut brings a taste of the Levant to Motor City, Spanish restaurant Besar recently opened in Bluewaters Dubai, and Sexy Fish, a celebrity favourite from London, is now open in DIFC.
