Dubai is known for its uber-luxe dining scene. The city is already home to several restaurants from London such as Sexy Fish, Signor Sassi and Zuma, and now it’s getting another exciting addition. Hailing from Heron Tower in Bishopsgate, Duck & Waffle Dubai will open its doors on Monday, 23 December 2024.
Located in Innovation One DIFC, Duck & Waffle Dubai will cover a space of 10,000 square feet, offering views of the Burj Khalifa, rivalling the skyline views that the London outpost promises. This venue will feature a central radiant dome that’s sure to catch the eye of diners as soon as they enter, along with a metal tree that will be surrounded by lush greenery. The dining space will be designed like a greenhouse, featuring a covered pergola. This will allow diners to enjoy the space during the day and transform into a lively venue once the sun sets. And if that’s not all, Duck & Waffle Dubai will also boast an open kitchen and a 360-degree, walk-around “chef’s bar”.
Embracing the spirit of all-day dining, Duck & Waffle Dubai will serve guests from breakfast to late hours into the night. The menu from Jeremy Besson brings a blend of modern British and American cuisines. The chef will bring his expertise and introduce a robata grill to the Dubai menu, adding a new dimension to Duck & Waffle’s culinary offering. The menu will feature items like Foie Gras Crème Brûlée, Spicy Ox Cheek Doughnut, and Whole Roasted Chicken, but the Duck & Waffle dish remains its signature. This dish features a hearty combination of crispy duck leg confit, fried duck egg, and mustard maple syrup. Complementing the food, a selection of curated cocktails will also be available.
With Duck & Waffle opening just in time for the festive season, diners can look forward to seasonal specials such as succulent Turkey with all the trimmings and a beautiful Beef Wellington. On New Year’s Eve, the restaurant turns up the energy with soulful tunes, funky vibes, and celebratory midnight shots.
Globally celebrated for its 24/7 dining concept, Duck & Waffle Dubai will initially welcome guests daily from 12pm to 1am, with the last table booking at 11pm. The restaurant plans to transition to its round-the-clock service early in the new year. Duck and Waffle joins Sexy Fish in Innovation One, making the DIFC tower a new dining destination in its own right.
