In Dubai, afternoon tea can be enjoyed in world-class hotels and restaurants. Now, BusTronomy has launched a luxury breakfast, lunch, dinner, and, of course, afternoon tea with a difference. The event, which takes place on a double-decker bus, will run from 15 January to 16 March.
BusTronomy was founded by Viviane Zoghbi. After leaving Lebanon, she moved to the United Arab Emirates and started her own business. She was passionate about tourism as well as food, and is behind Dubai’s first dining experience of its kind on board a bus.
BusTronomy is perfect for tourists, as it combines sightseeing with food. The exterior of the bus boasts a sleek navy and gold design. On the outside, there is a picture of Dubai’s skyline. On the inside, there are tables for two and four.
It’s not just about the dining experience, as there is also an audio guide in multiple languages. The bus passes iconic landmarks, including Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa, the Museum of the Future, and Palm Jumeirah. The large windows ensure that guests can get a great view of the city and take snaps to share. Plus, there is a panoramic glass roof, which lets in lots of light and allows guests to see the city from a different perspective.
BusTronomy has a range of experiences. The Morning Gourmet Brunch Tour runs from 11am and starts from AED 250. The Panoramic Afternoon Tea runs from 4pm and starts from 4pm. The Fine Dining Panoramic Tour runs from 4pm and starts from AED 250.
