Abu Dhabi’s Corniche will again light up with plenty of family-friendly attractions.
Winter is here, and Abu Dhabi has a packed roster to entertain people of all ages. Mother Of The Nation (MOTN) Festival is making its grand return, promising a celebration of fun, food and festivities.
Taking place until 31 December, this year marks the eighth edition of the MOTN Festival. Happening at Abu Dhabi Corniche, this year’s theme is “Out of This World” which will offer a variety of thrilling rides, cuisine and much more. Spanning along the Corniche, it will transform the capital into a playground, making it the ultimate destination to visit this season.
Attractions
MOTN will be divided into several zones. First up is the Amuse Zone which will feature attractions such as the Out of This World Museum. Within this museum, you’ll be able to explore the Time Vortex and the Celestial trail, which will both make great posts for the gram. The MOTN Theatre, with live performances by Bluey, Number Blocks and Mr. Bean, will also be available to watch along with the Ferris Wheel, promising a great vantage point.
For adrenaline junkies, the Thrill Zone has it all. Face your fears at the Five Nights at Freddy’s live maze, or defy gravity at the galaxy-themed Ninja Kidz Action Park. And if you’re feeling extra bold, try the Space Flight Experience, where you can float like an astronaut in an open-air wind tunnel.
Food
Foodies rejoice because the Indulge Zone boasts an array of international food concepts. Indulge in Pastasole ,which brings authentic Italian pasta with a NYC flair to the capital. Or if you’re more into pizza, Voodoo Rays has the most delicious New York-style pizzas. And if you’re a fan of London’s Peckish, they’re heading to the capital’s MOTN, too, so you can sink your teeth in juicy burgers.z For those who love chicken sandwiches, Lucky’s Hot Chicken is where it’s all at — promising crunchy, tender and spicy bites.
No festival is complete without some sweet indulgence, and this time around, MOTN is bringing Brooki to Abu Dhabi all the way from Australia. This concept combines a classic cookie and a brownie for a brooki that’s irresistible. And to keep the festival tradition alive, Soft Serve Society will be serving beloved ice cream cones for you to enjoy.
Entertainment
Apart from attractions and food, MOTN will also have tons of live entertainment options within its Entertain Zone. Performances by Oumaima, Ayed Youssef, Muslim, Siilawy, A5RASS and Mohamed Hamaki are on the agenda, promising a wholesome night for all.
