Enjoy pretty pastries at The Galleria Al Maryah Island venue.
Abu Dhabi, you are in for a tasty treat. Yann Couvreur Pâtisserie will open at The Galleria Al Maryah Island. The opening date has not yet been confirmed, but we know from the hoardings that it will be opening soon.
Yann Couvreur Pâtisserie can already be found in Saudi Arabia and UAE. The patisserie has branches in Al Olaya, Riyadh; Dubai Mall, Fashion Avenue; and One Central, Dubai World Trade Center. The pastry venues can be found across the world, from Miami to South Korea. Now, it will be making its debut in Abu Dhabi and spreading its culinary joy to the capital
Yann Couvreur Pâtisserie draws its inspiration from traditional Parisian pastries. Yann started his career in Paris, and trained at the Tecomah training centre in Jouy-en-Josas. He previously worked at Le Trianon Palace and Gérard Vié in Versailles. He has also created pastries for the world-famous Orient-Express train.
In 2016, Yann opened his first pastry shop in Paris. Today, he has several pastry shops in Paris, and a popular following. The pastries combine classic cooking techniques with a modern sensibility. The offerings span chocolates, épicerie, pastries and viennoiserie.
Previous pastries include a Chocolate Entremet, Coconut Caramel Éclair, Raspberry Cheesecake and Vanilla Flan Sliced. The cakes are carefully crafted – look out for the Valentine Cake with two chocolate fox figures, and Merveille with animal-inspired icing. The wow-worthy cakes are Insta-gold, and (almost) too pretty to eat.
