The concept pays homage to his hit song Lose Yourself.
If you had one shot or one opportunity to eat at Eminem’s pop-up restaurant, would you capture it or just let it slip? The American superstar rapper is coming to Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Not only will he be performing in Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, but he’ll also bring his restaurant, Mom’s Spaghetti, to the cities.
Eminem will be performing at MDLBeast Soundstorm in Riyadh, which runs from 12 to 14 December, and at Abu Dhabi’s F1 Yasalam After-Race Concerts on 7 December. Mom’s Spaghetti will open at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi from 5 to 8 December, and at Fort Shady in MDLBeast Soundstorm from 12 to 14 December.
Fans of the rapper will recognise Mom’s Spaghetti as a nod to the lyrics in his hit song, Lose Yourself. The lyrics are “his palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy, there’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti”.
Mom’s Spaghetti draws inspiration from homemade pastas. It aims to bring to life the pasta sauce, which was leftover and eaten on the second day. The company also sells hats, hoodies and T-shirts, which include the logo of the word mom with a heart and fork.
Eminem, real name Marshall Bruce Mathers III, was born in Detroit, United States. In 1999, he burst onto the music scene with the song, My Names Is. His hit songs include Forget About Dre, Love the Way You Lie and The Monster. Over his career, he has won 15 Grammy Awards and sold more than 220 million records.
This isn’t Eminem’s first time in the Middle East, as he has previously performed in Abu Dhabi. Ahead of his shows in the region, we are expecting cadence, charisma and a little controversy.
