Like last year, Dubai Fashion Week has once again announced its plan to lead the global fashion calendar. The upcoming Autumn/Winter edition, scheduled for 1 to 6 February, aims to attract and engage potential buyers and investors earlier in the fiscal year, creating a unique window for global visibility.
The upcoming 26th edition promises to build anticipation, with more than 25 designers from around the world. The event will feature exclusive events, curated showrooms, capsule launches, brand activations, networking opportunities, and insightful panel discussions. The dynamic citywide calendar of high-profile fashion shows will provide a platform for each designer to bring their unique vision to the runway.
Dubai Fashion Week will also be introducing a buyer’s program this time around. It will help bridge the gap between talent and buyers, allowing them to network and forge meaningful relationships.
DFW’s journey began as a platform for regional designers to connect with international buyers and distributors, fostering partnerships and business opportunities. Over the years, it has become a symbol of Dubai’s growing status as a fashion capital, standing shoulder to shoulder with prominent fashion weeks in London, Milan, New York, and Paris.
In 2024, Dubai Fashion Week hosted a plethora of designers strutting their collections on the runway, with the renowned Roberto Cavalli closing the week. Prior to that, the 2023 edition of DFW left a lasting impression, featuring an exclusive presentation by Carolina Herrera and a runway appearance by Naomi Campbell for Rizman Ruzaini.
