This year will also introduce a buyer’s program.
Dubai Fashion Week has become a pivotal event in the international fashion calendar, showcasing the region’s creativity and fashion excellence. Founded by Dubai Design District (d3) and the Arab Fashion Council (AFC), DFW has evolved into a global force that unites talents across borders, aiming to catapult the region’s fashion industry onto the global stage.
Like last year, Dubai Fashion Week has once again announced its plan to lead the global fashion calendar. Returning to Dubai Design District (d3) from 1 to 6 February, Dubai Fashion Week will lead the international fashion season, preceding Paris, Milan, New York, and London Fashion Weeks. The event will offer designers, buyers, influencers, and the public a vibrant schedule of runway shows, activations, and citywide events.
The upcoming edition promises to build anticipation, with more than 25 established and emerging designers from regions including France, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Russia, Türkiye, and the UAE. Making history this season, renowned couture brand Paolo Sebastian will debut as the first Australian fashion house to showcase at Dubai Fashion Week.
Notable designers include BLSSD, Dima Ayad, Lama Jouni, Michael Cinco, Weinsanto, and Mrs Keepa. Joining as the debut, Correspondent Member is the Istanbul-based luxury streetwear brand Les Benjamins. Closing the season on 6 February will be Indian couture designer Manish Malhotra, whose creations have redefined Bollywood fashion.
Other highlights include eco-conscious designs from Morocco-inspired Molato, bold statements from SAIJAMIN and Viva Vox, and intricate collections by Angelo Estera and Antoine Kareh. Australian couture house Paolo Sebastian will enchant audiences with its romantic craftsmanship while emerging talents will showcase fresh perspectives.
New York-based British-Iraqi designer Tara Babylon, known for her avant-garde evening wear, will make her debut. The programme will also feature activations with leading luxury retailers THAT Concept and Etoile Boutique, an Instagram-hosted launch party, and the continuation of the impactful Round Table initiative.
The event will also feature exclusive events, curated showrooms, capsule launches, brand activations, networking opportunities, and insightful panel discussions. Dubai Fashion Week will also be introducing a buyer’s program to help bridge the gap between talent and buyers, allowing them to network and forge meaningful relationships.
In 2024, Dubai Fashion Week hosted a plethora of designers strutting their collections on the runway, with the renowned Roberto Cavalli closing the week. Prior to that, the 2023 edition left a lasting impression, featuring an exclusive presentation by Carolina Herrera and a runway appearance by Naomi Campbell for Rizman Ruzaini.
As Dubai Fashion Week unfolds, it promises to be an unforgettable journey filled with inspiration, innovation, and style.
