The Irish-born store offers low-cost clothes for men, women and children.

Fashionistas call it Primani, and for many, it's their little stylish secret. The bargain brand Primark will be making its debut in the Middle East. The exact locations for the stores have not yet been confirmed, but here's what we do know.

Primark has partnered with the international retail franchise operator Alshaya Group. The pair have announced a partnership, which will explore opportunities to open stores in the region. While we are hoping it comes to Saudi Arabia and the UAE, we are waiting for the final details.

In 1969, Primark was founded in Dublin, Ireland. For the uninitiated, the brand is famous for its budget fashion options for men, women and children. Today, it has 450 stores across 17 markets, and prides itself on offering an accessible price point for everyone. Primark can already be found across the United Kingdom. One of its biggest stores is the London flagship on Oxford Street, which once notched up a record sales figure of £820,000 in one day.

Alshaya Group is a family-owned business, which was established in Kuwait. Today, it is one of the world's leading brand franchise operators. The company's portfolio includes more than 4,000 stores, restaurants and cafés. Plus, it has worked closely with brands including American Eagle, Bath & Body Works, Charlotte Tilbury, Chipotle, Footlocker, H&M, Raising Cane's, Shake Shack, and Victoria's Secret.

John Hadden, CEO at Alshaya Group, explained: "We are incredibly proud to partner with Primark to discuss potential opportunities to bring their stores to the region. For many years, shoppers across the region have asked for Primark and we are looking forward to the start of a successful partnership to help bring their exceptional in-store experience to the GCC."
